Hello! My name is Danielle Paulet. I am a traditionally trained 2D animator, and I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007. In addition to being an animator, I have professional experience in graphic and web design as well as video compositing and editing. I currently work for AT&T's Yellowpages division where I create websites for a variety of clients. Prior to that, II was a Senior Designer for Getfugu Inc. where I worked on concept art for the augmented Reality "Magic Books", as well as handled a variety of creative tasks from creating iphone user interfaces to corporate presentations and demos.

I tend to get a lot of criticism for being a 2-D animator as opposed to a 3-d animator. People like to tell me that 2-D is dead and 3-D is taking over. To me nothing beats holding a pencil and bringing a character to life just by flipping a couple sheets of paper back and forth. I love to watch all forms of animation be it stop motion, 3-D or 2-D, but when it comes to doing my own, I choose to draw. I was trained on traditional pencil and paper, and learned to shoot and check my timing, so when I chose to make the more affordable transition to flash animation, I was able to work much faster. I've been fascinated by animation since I was a little kid, and that fascination and passion have never left me. I live to make drawings come to life, whether it be on a Website, or on TV.

I really enjoy web design, graphic design and video as well, and the fact that I am an animator allows me to look at those mediums in a different way and come up with some unique and unusual ideas.
