Doberman Rescue Alliance Logo by Danielle PauletIf you know much about me, you know I have a Doberman Pinscher. She is easily the most affectionate and awesome dog I have ever known. No matter how bad my day is or what awful stuff may be going on in my life, she doesn’t care and just needs to lay on top of me, which in turn makes me feel better even if I’m being crushed. Because of the impact she’s had on my life, I decided I wanted to give back. Kano is obviously already spoiled and safe and in a warm home with all the bones and toys and snacks she could ask for, but there are thousands of Dobermans out there that aren’t so lucky. This is how I ended up getting involved in rescue work.

I was introduced to the Doberman Rescue Alliance through a mutual friend when I found a doberman in desperate need in Atlanta. They agreed to take him in even though they were in Florida, and it would be a heck of a transport. Luckily, someone here ended up adopting him, but this started a long relationship between em and them. They were relatively new having just been founded earlier in 2011, and they had no website, no logo, no identity. Just a Facebook page and a mission.

Over the past year and some change, I’ve created them a logo as well as a website, print materials and items they can sell. The logo has become well recognized in the rescue world, and they’ve received requests to use it in tattoos, iron gates to someones house, and as a necklace. I would say DRA is pretty happy with the outcome, and so am I! Here are several examples of items that have been created over the past year for them.
